This page features a curated list of the best Greta Van Fleet interviews available online. Some are interviews with the entire band; in others, the interviewer focused on just one band member.

AntiHero journalist Mark Dean interviewed Jake Kiszka on 17 Dec 2017.
Here's a sample:
ANTIHERO: "Was there a single factor that you can pinpoint that has made the world sit up and take notice of the band?"
Jake Kiszka: "I am not really sure, you know? If I tried to identify why… I guess it’s just that we have written music that is truthful to us, real music, you know? Putting your soul and your heart into it. People can hear that and they have reacted to it."
Amen to that Jake! That strikes us as spot on. It's not just that Led Zeppelin is a strong influence (the Zeppelin comparison is being way overdone on the interwebs), it's the passion of the lyrics, the music, and the band's performances that attracts people of all ages and from around the world.
Some of the Questions AntiHero Asked Jake
We won't spoil the whole interview for you (it's a quick read, btw), but here are a couple of the questions Mark Dean asked Jake, to whet your appetite:
ANTIHERO: "I have read that your father had adopted quite an original incentive scheme during your early career progression. Is this still something that is ongoing? (He upgraded Jake Kiszka’s guitar each time he showed significant progress)."
ANTIHERO: "In terms of album artwork will that be something that the band will continue to have direct input into?" [We were surprised (in a good way) with part of Jake's answer ...]
ANTIHERO: "Your musical influences are widely reported and known. Anything that you currently listen to that would surprise people?"
Great questions which Jake answers with discernment and aplomb.
Song River is a veteran rock music photographer, writer, and chief editor of BANGS! Music & Entertainment. She interviewed Sam Kiszka, bass & keyboards player for Greta Van Fleet, on 24 Jul 2017 in a piece titled, Up Close & Personal with Sam Kiszka of Greta Van Fleet.
The quality questions Ms. Rivers asks Sam demonstrates her experience as a writer, and as someone who has worked in the industry for over 30 years. These are great questions! And Sam answers them with humility, intelligence, and grace.
It's one of the best Greta Van Fleet interviews to be sure.
